The Mystery Ranch Men's Stein 62 Pack is a full-size, lightweight pack for backpacking. The Mountain Frame features carbon fiber stays and lightweight foam, allowing the pack to drop weight without sacrificing carry-power. The main compartment carries the bulk of your gear while a lower compartment can house your sleeping bag. The dual top lid pockets is where it's at however, housing all the quick-access tiny items you'll want in a jiffy. Once you've set up a solid base camp, shed the main portion of your pack, using just the top pockets and shoulder harness for a summit push or day hike.

I agree that the Mystery Ranch Men's Stein 62 Pack is an excellent full-size, lightweight pack for backpacking. But I prefer a pack with a frame. But for soft pack, this is a great choice.

Great backpack for extended overnight hiking but light enough for mountains and hills. Great value for the price!
